2016 Walk & Wag Volunteer Information
The annual Walk & Wag event could not be a success without the help of those who graciously volunteer their time. Please consider volunteering for this year's event. You must be 18 years or older to volunteer. Those 15 years and older may also volunteer as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. All volunteers will receive a 2016 Walk & Wag t-shirt.

5th Annual Walk & Wag Volunteer Positions
- Set-up Volunteers - (7:00am-9:30am) You will be responsible for helping us set up. This will require some heavy lifting. Spots available: 10
- Early Registration Check-in Volunteers - (8:00am-10:00am) You will be responsible for the following: checking in early registrants; providing them with a wristband, schedule, and goody bag. This will require basic math skills. Spots available: FILLED
- Day-of-Event Registration Volunteers - (8:00am-10:00am) You will be responsible for assisting day-of-event registrants, including: registering event attendees (everyone, regardless of age must be registered); making sure they understand the event rules; taking their payment; and providing them with a wristband, event schedule, and goody bag. This will require basic math skills. Spots available: FILLED
- T-Shirt/Event Items Booth Volunteers - (8:30am-1:00pm) You will be responsible for selling our event t-shirts and other event items. This will require basic math skills. Must be outgoing and willing to encourage people to come over and check out the t-shirts and event items. Spots available: FILLED
- Raffle Prize Booth Volunteers - (830am-1:00pm) You will be responsible for selling raffle tickets and keeping track of the money from the sell of the raffle tickets until the end of the day. Must be outgoing and willing to encourage people to come over and check out the prizes. Spots available: FILLED
- Contest Volunteers - (8:30am - 12:30pm) You will be responsible for signing up contest participants after they have registered or checked in at the event. Before each contest begins, you will check in the contests participants and make sure they have a number. Spots available: FILLED
- Children’s Area Volunteers - (9:00am-1:00pm) You will be responsible for assisting children with our children’s activities, including: games, making dog ears, and face painting. Spots available: FILLED
- General/Safety Volunteers - (9:00am-1:00pm) You will be responsible for maintaining a fun and safe event for attendees. Duties may include the following: Watching for hazards (ex. slick spots underneath the pavilion), assist with parking, provide directions to guests, assist vendors during the event , etc. Spots available: 4
- Breakdown Volunteers - (12:45pm - 2:00pm) You will be responsible for helping breaking down all event set-up. This will require some heavy lifting. Spots available: 10
